How do I return an item?



Returns & Exchanges For HID Kits (Revised as of 5/19/15)

What is our HID return policy?

Due to the nature of our products, Street Obsessions does not accept returns on open-box HID bulbs. Other parts may be returned if they are in like-new condition with their original unopened packaging. All returns must be made within 45 days and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee without exception. If the item(s) need any kind of reconditioning before they can be restocked, an additional 5% restocking fee will be applied. Please be advised that any free shipping promotions used on the original order will be forfeited if the order is returned and the original shipping costs (paid or unpaid) will also be deducted from the refundable amount. Due to the high volume of incoming and outgoing packages each day, If no return form is included: we cannot guarantee that your return will be processed until contact is made and proof of delivery (ie tracking information) is furnished. We are not responsible for return postage unless the return is required due to our fault.

What is our HID exchange policy?

Parts may be exchanged if they are in like-new condition with their original unopened packaging for credit towards anything else in-stock. Exchanges must be made within 60 days of the original purchase date. For example, you ordered projector "X" but changed your mind and now want to use projector "Y". If your returned part(s) cannot be restocked as "new" we reserve to right to deny the exchange or apply only a partial credit towards your new items (no more than 20% reduction in value.) If you need to make a rushed exchange, you can order the new part first and then return the original for a refund without being subject to any restocking fees on the “exchanged” item.

What is our refund policy?

If you return an item for a refund, it must first meet the criteria stated in our above returns policy. All returns must be received at Street Obsessions or TRS within 45 days from their original purchase date. All refunds must be issued back to the original payment source. After 45 days from the original purchase date, we can only make exchanges or issue store credit. This policy shall apply to any product purchases or deposits.

How are shipping costs handled on returns/exchanges?

The customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from our shop. However, if the exchange is necessary because of our mistake, we will cover all shipping charges involved. Free shipping coupons are not valid on any exchange. If you used a free shipping promotion on your original order and returned that order for a refund or exchange; that promotion is then forfeited and the actual shipping costs will be deducted from the refund/store credit granted.

How can I cancel or change my order before it ships?

You must call us before the order status is changed to "shipped". Once the order status is marked as shipped, the products have already left our warehouse. Please beware that due to our e-mail volume, we can only guarantee cancellation requests will be fulfilled if they are called in before 1:00pm EST. Once an order has shipped, we can only refund any balance left after the shipping costs are paid to the carrier. Special Orders cannot be cancelled; they are placed based your commitment to the purchase.

Warranties

What is the warranty on my parts?

Please refer to the products listing page for specific warranty information, as it varies depending on the brand, configuration, etc. All warranties are non-transferrable and are only applicable to the original purchaser.

How can I get a replacement for something that failed?

Please troubleshoot by switching components from side to side to isolate the problem. If your light doesn't work anymore; the ballast, bulb, or wire harness may be faulty. Once you are 100% sure which component failed, you will not have to return it to us for a replacement. You will be asked to send in an image with the wires on the part cut and the serial number visible. A new part will be issued within 24 hours. We will replace dead bulbs alone if the purchase was one year or less from the time of failure. If the bulbs are still under warranty and it has been more than two years, we will replace the pair. In special cases, we won't require you to permanently disable the part before a replacement is sent (ie if a light bulb is mis-colored but still working).

How are warranty replacements shipped?

Though, there is no charge for the replacement part itself, you will be required to pay the shipping costs involved to deliver your replacement part. If the customer desires any other shipping method (ie overnight) then they will be responsible for the associated costs above and beyond our standard warranty shipping method.

What if something is missing from my order?

If you believe that an item is missing from your order; please help by sending us a picture of your order contents, the packing slip, and the packaging it arrived in. We will work together with you to help make sure you receive the correct/missing parts right away. Any missing or damaged-in-transit parts must be reported within 30 days of delivery. Beyond that - we will not be responsible for such parts or any associated costs to deliver them.


Shipping & Returns for BC Racing Coilovers (Update of 1/01/15)

Coilovers ARE ASSEMBLED TO ORDER and take ~1-7 Business days to process and assemble. If an item is backed up longer than this time frame a sales rep will contact you. You will be updated with tracking once the item is shipped. (Extreme Drop Kits or Custom Kits take up to 4 weeks from date of purchase to be shipped)

Some Parts are intended for Off-Road Use ONLY. And never to be used on public Highways.

All sales are final. All parts are subject to price changes and availability. NO RETURNS !! Any returns accepted are subjected to a 30% restocking Fee. Any returns accepted must be within 30 days of date of purchase, be UNUSED, and in UNOPENED NEW BOX. No Cancellations or Returns on Special Order Parts (Extreme Drop Kits and Custom Kits). "Special Order Parts" refers to any part that is not in-stock at Enjuku Racing. All part information is correct as far as Street Obsessions Knows from Enjuku Racing and any errors will be changed upon notification to Us.

Please note that Street Obsessions, will only to ship to the "VERIFIED" billing address of a credit card and to the card holder THROUGH PAYPAL ONLY. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. This is only in place to protect ourselves and the consumer from any type of fraud.

All orders are processed within 24 hours, except on weekends and holidays. Most orders are shipped within 2-5 Business Days, unless the part is Special Order or on back-order. If part is Special Order of placed on back-order the customer will be notified VIA e-mail and the part will be shipped as soon as it is received by Enjuku Racing or when the item is taken off back order. Most orders will be shipped via UPS ground.

All orders outside of the continental United States are subject to HIGHER SHIPPING COST. Please email sales@streetobsessions.com for shipping quotes before ordering, if you are outside the continental 48 states.

If you have not received notification of your order with in 7 business day please email sales@streetobsessions.com for order status.

Street Obsessions DOES NOT cover manufacturer's warranty. All warranty and guarantees are provided by the manufacturer. The regulation of emissions production, noise levels and safety standards are untaken by the federal government, each of the fifty-state legislatures, and by the many local municipalities, towns, and countries. Street Obsessions makes no warranties of merchantability, of fitness for a particular purpose or that its products are improved for general use, or that its products comply with laws, regulations, or ordinance in the states where they may be sold to the ultimate purchaser, the consumer. In this connection, the retail purchaser, the buyer, the ultimate consumer assumes the burden of the entire cost of any and all necessary service, alterations or repairs. Street Obsessions advises the consumer or customer that all products purchased in the State of California must conform to Specific vehicle code sections. Please consult your local and state laws for more information. WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TICKETS OR VIOLATIONS YOU MAY INCUR. Purchase at your Own Risk!


Shipping & Returns for All Other Merchandise and Accessories


Returns or Exchanges
• Return for refund will be allowed only within 7 Calendar days from receipt of merchandise.

  • Return for exchange or store credit will be allowed within 30 days from receipt of merchandise.

• All authorized return merchandise must be unused and in it's original saleable packaging, All packaging, documentation, warranty cards, instructions and hardware MUST also be returned.
• Your Invoice and/or Packing Slip must also be returned.
• All returns must be sent Prepaid - no collect shipments will be accepted. Insure the returned parts for it's full value to protect yourself against loss with the carrier. We strongly recommend using UPS. If you send something Freight Collect to Street Obsessions, it will be refused by the Receiving Department. If we did not refuse at the time of delivery, your credit card will be charge for the shipping charges based on which carrier and which service utilized.
• No return or exchange on merchandise that shows signs of having been installed, modified, or painted.
• No return or exchange Electrical Items, Used merchandise, Used JDM items or Special Order items.
• NO RETURN OR EXCHANGES ON WHEELS.
• All Returns are subject to a 30% Re-stocking fee.
• ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS ON SHIPPING CHARGES.

Shipping
•Shipping is usually done within 48hrs of the order being received. In cases where an item is out of stock, on back order or on special order, Street Obsessions will notify the customer via email with an approximate ETA.
• All shipments within the 48 Contiguous State will be sent via UPS Ground service or United States Postal Service (USPS) FREE OF CHARGE, Unless stated differently during checkout - For International orders, we use USPS and request funds before shipment will leave our warehouse.
• For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico - USPS will be used or UPS if necessary (There are additional fees associated with most UPS shipping to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Alaska)
• Parts that are too large or too heavy for UPS are delivered by Truck. Most truck freight items have Flat Delivery Rates, a Terminal Fee, Inside Delivery Charge Liftgate surcharge and/or Residential surcharge, we are not responsible for such fee's. You the Consumer will be Responsible for all Shipping Cost.
• For Air shipments, they are subject to Dimensional Weight. Please go to UPS.com for explanation.

Damaged Shipments
• Inspect your parcel carefully BEFORE SIGNING for the package. Note any irregularities or damage on the freight receipt. If the package is in good condition, open it immediately and check for hidden damages.
• If you should receive parts damaged by the Shipping Carrier, you must Email Street Obsessions within 24 hours or the claim can not be filed.
• KEEP ALL original packaging, including packing materials and original shipping carton.
• DO NOT return damaged items without prior approval. We Will Not Accept It, and it will be returned to you.
• Street Obsessions will call UPS to report the claim. UPS will issue a Damaged Call Tag and have the package returned to us.
